One of the iPad’s biggest selling point is the sheer number of apps available for it. You can play games, learn new things, and use the iPad for just about anything, but not without a price. Mobclix data revealed the most expensive iPad apps. See the results in the slideshow below. Would you buy them?

1. SiteClone Publisher – $899.99 
SiteClone Publisher allows you to “supercharge your web content or offline web apps by publishing it to iPod, iPhone and iPad users.” At a cost, that’s almost double the iPad itself, this app better be worth it. Right now it’s running an opening weekend special for $199.99, but even at that price, this is a very expensive app.
2. Lexi – COMPLETE – $299.99
Lexi – COMPLETE is the most expensive medical app on the app store at the price of $299.99. It is a complete medical database and might be worth the price for doctors looking to use the iPad to replace other medical databases or textbooks. Lexi has other similar apps in a high price range, but this is the most expensive.
3. Becker’s 2010 CPA Mobile Flashcards – $299.99
Becker’s Flashcards app is the most expensive iPad app in the education category. If you’re studying for the CPA exam, flashcards on your iPad might be very helpful, but not without a price. At $299.99, let’s hope this app is very helpful indeed.
4. Proloquo2Go – $189.99
This app is designed for people who have difficulty speaking and looks like based on more expensive solutions it replaces it might be worth it. The iPad opens up many possibilities for iPad apps that can make a difference in people’s lives and Proloquo2Go seems like a good example.
5. SuperFarm -$69.99
At $69.99, SuperFarm has the dubious distinction of being the most expensive iPad game. At this price, I hope my farming produces real food…
